BACKGROUND

The need for government and the Nigerian society to constantly tap from the rich mix of high level manpower churned out by NIPSS informed the formation of Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI).

ANNOUNCEMENT

INTERACTION WITH PARTICIPANTS OF SEC 32/2010

Dear Member,

     Participants of  SEC 32/2010 would be carrying out their Local Study Tour between 19th April and 1st May 2010. The Tour which will take six Groups of Participants and staff to a total of twelve states, has as its theme, The Imperative of policy sustainability for National Security and Democratic Stability in Nigeria.

     The Tour includes interactive sessions with a number of interest groups in the states to be visited. It is also scheduled that the participants would meet with AANI members in these states between 8pm and 9pm on 22nd and 29th April 2010. The meetings are proposed to hold in the Government Houses or designated hotels in the state capitals. The breakdown is as

Thursday 22nd April 2010

  1. Group 1 – Ilorin, Kwara State
  2. Group 2 – Uyo, Akwa -Ibom State
  3. Group 3 – Sokoto, Sokoto State
  4. Group 4 – Kano, Kano State
  5. Group 5 – Gombe, Gombe State
  6. Group 6 – Lokoja, Kogi State

Thursday 29th April 2010

  1. Group 1 – Umuahia, Abia State
  2. Group 2 – Ibadan, Oyo State
  3. Group 3 – Enugu, Enugu State
  4. Group 4 – Asaba, Delta State
  5. Group 5 – Ado Ekiti – Ekiti State
  6. Group 6 – Yenagoa, Bayelsa State

AANI members in the afore-mentioned states are hereby kindly requested to attend accordingly.
