JOHN ADENIYI MESELE (mni)
Holds a B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture (1966) and several postgraduate diplomas from the University of Queens lands, Brisbane, Australia,
International Rice Research Institute, Los Banos, Philippines and the University if Pennsylvania, USA and he attended the prestigious Senior
Executive Course of the National Institute in 1992 and is a member of the National Institute. He is currently the Moderator of Integrated Research Group 1. |
BRIG-GEN LARINDE LAOYE (DSS, fwc, mni, Msc (UI)
He enlisted as a Boy Soldier at the Nigerian Military School Zaria in January 1965, from where he proceeded to the Nigerian Defence
Academy in September 1970 and was commissioned on the 13th of March 1971 as a second Lieutenant. Prominent among his achievements are:
- Ammunition Technical Officers Course in Bramley – UK, 1972
- Explosives Ordinance Disposal / Improvised Explosive Devices Course Salisbury – UK, 1973
- Battalion/Regimental Commanders' Officers Course, Jaji, Nigeria – 1983
- National War College – Abuja – 1996 – 1997
- Master of Science Programme, University of Ibadan 1997 – 1998
- Senior Executive Course 21 at the National Institute (NIPSS) – 1999
He was appointed Moderator at the National Institute since January 2000 till date.

Ambassador. TIMOTHY ANAELE MGBOKWERE, OON
Holds a B. A. Honors (Anthropology) Durham 1963. He has served in several countries among with are India, Pakistan, Kenya, Zaire etc. In
1973, he was counsellor and Head of Chancery, Embassy of Nigeria, Peking, China. In 1974, he became the State Deputy Chief of Protocol. Other notable achievements are:
- 1976 – Appointed Nigeria's Ambassador to Mozambique, with concurrent accreditation to Swaziland and Madagascar.
- 1979 – 1984 – Ambassador to Brazil with concurrent accreditation to Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay.
- 1984 – 1986: Director, First United Nations Department
- 1986 – 1987: Director of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador to Austria; Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna.
- 1991 – 1992: Deputy Director-General, International Organisations Directorate
- 1993 – 1995: Deputy Director-General, Planning, Research and Statistics Directorate
- 1995 – 1996: Ag. Director-General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He is currently the Moderator of Integrated Research Group 3.

Commodore Akin Enitan Oguntona (fss, mss, dss, mni)
Enrolled into the 11th
regular course of the Nigerian Defence Academy on 3rd January 1972 and passed out in June 1973 after which he went for his Midshipman training at NNS NIGERIA (now NNS OBUMA). Among other
appointments he has held include:

Ambassador Ejoh Abuah
Attended the University of London King's College and International University of Comparative Economics and Law (Luxemburg). He also
holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) 1964 and a Master of Law (LL.M) 1969. He was called to the English bar at the Middle Temple in 1965 (Inn of Court England) and became a member of the Nigerian Bar in 1966.

M. O. Poroye
Mr. M.O. Poroye was educated both in Nigeria, Europe and United State of America. He had his certificate courses in Ibadan, 1965, Germany 1966 and England 1990. He obtained his B. A. degree in 1972, M. A.
(Educational Administration) in 1975 all from the university of Minnesota, USA He also obtained Ph.D. Candidacy certificate in Educational Policy
and Administration in March 1976. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree programme in Educational Management with concentration on policy and planning at the university of Ibadan.

Deinbo Allen Briggs was born on August 20, 1954 at Abonnema in Akuku-Toru local government Area of River State. He attended Nyemoni
Grammar School, Abonnema, River State. For his post-Secondary Education, he attended Aberdeen College Commerce, Aberdeen Scotland, UK; Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland UK;
University of Bradford, England, U.K; and University of Maryland, USABriggs holds academic qualifications on H.N.D Public Administration
1979, B. A. social Science (Politics) 1982; M. A. Peace and Strategic Studies 1986; Certificate (PG.) Foreign Policy Process. He has Published academic articles in National
and International Journals, ranging from Defence Affairs to Foreign Policy Issues, to Internal Security. Some of the articles include: 1.

In 1989, he was a Ford Foundation Fellow at the University of Maryland, U.S.A, with fifteen other Fellows from around the World. The 'independence of mind' he displayed in his
project "Strategic interests and US Policy Making on South Africa: The Carter and Reagan Years," and the results of his interview with influential and hard to contact policy figure like
Ambassador Jean Kirkpatrick, won him accolade and laurel of the University of Maryland. His latest article, "Potential for conflict in Africa: The need for collective security",
published in the Nigerian Army Journal, volume 9 of June 2001 was quite prophetic and may remain a blue print for the African Union (AU).
Deinbo Allen Briggs joined NIPSS, Kuru, as a Junior Fellow in 1985, and rose to the rank of Senior Fellow in 1995. He is presently, the Head of Foreign Affairs Unit of the Research Department.

DR. WIFRED SHAAPERA TILE Dr. W. S. Tile was born on July 10, 1956, in Ihugh, Mbangur, Vandeikya
Local government Area in Benue State, Nigeria. He was educated in Nigeria. He obtained his B.Sc. in 1979, M.Sc. 1985 and Ph.D. 191995, all
in Sociology from Nigeria's Premier University i.e. University of Ibadan.
Dr. W. S. Tile has a lot of articles in journals and books, local and

BB AINDIGH Born on the 11th
of June 1958. Col. BB Aindigh is an alumnus of St. John's College, Kaduna 1968 – 1972, college of Arts and Science, Zaria (1972-1974) Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1974-1977), Nigerian Defence
Academy (1978), Nigerian Army School of Education (1987), Command and Staff College (1988), University of Jos. (1997 – 1999) and currently a doctoral candidate.
He has participated in a lot of Seminars and Conferences both within and outside the Military parlance especially in such areas like politics, geopolitical studies, international
law, diplomacy and human rights. He has a strong bias in International Law and Diplomacy. He was awarded two Military Honours: Forces Service Star (Fss) and Meritorious Service Star (Mss).
